Katie Sokoler is a freelance photographer from Greenpoint, Brooklyn NY. For the past few weeks she’s been tracing silly shadows onto big rolls of Black paper and cutting them out. She attaches these charming poses to walls and then waits for some unsuspecting person to walk by and match the shadow lines and Viola! A perfectly silly shadow! I just love these..

It’s not often that a series of images can take my breathe away these days.
There is too much to be seen everywhere. Over-saturation has dulled the senses.

Yesterday though, thanks to an older post on Tornados in Brooklyn I sunk into my seat in amazement. 20 Year old Mike Brodie (aka The Polaroid Kid) is nothing short of incredible. He travels in a world the majority of us will never see, and he sends those images our way with sensitivity and empathy and a healthy dose of kick-ass rebellion.

I won’t say any more: These images speak for themselves.
